Wild light sessions are designed to be a joyful experience to give you happy memories as well as amazing photos rather than simply a photoshoot. I promise your children will remember it as one of the most fun things they did that week!
The golden glow of the sun just before it sets in a wild light session creates a magical atmosphere. Little ones sense the magic, the freedom this adventure just before bedtime gives them.
There will be wild giggles, joyful chaos and endless cuddles. This session is time to slow down, soak up the adventure and have fun with you little (or big!) ones.
With me it won't feel like a stranger photographing you but someone you've known forever. ily

What your outdoor photoshoot feels like
Outdoor family sessions are rarely calm, quiet affairs. Especially when toddlers are involved. Someone usually needs a snack, someone else wants to run off exploring, and at least one parent is quietly wondering whether the children will cooperate long enough for a single photo.
The truth is, they don’t need to.
As a mum of three myself, I completely understand how children work. They’re curious, energetic, unpredictable and wonderfully themselves. My sessions are designed around that reality, not against it.
Rather than expecting children to stand still and smile, I keep them moving and engaged. We play little games, go on tiny missions, explore the landscape and create moments where families can simply interact with each other. I place you in the best light and guide things gently so you never feel awkward or unsure what to do, but the experience never feels stiff or overly posed.

From outfits to locations to timing, family photos can sometimes feel like there are a hundred little decisions to get right.
That’s why I help you prepare for all of it.
Before your session you’ll receive guidance on what photographs beautifully outdoors, how to coordinate outfits for the whole family and exactly what to expect on the day. By the time we meet, most of the questions have already been answered. You can simply arrive, take a breath, and enjoy the experience with your family.
It'll be far easier and far more fun than you ever expected.

FAQ
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend reaching out and starting the process 3-4 months before you would like your session. I only take on a limited number of clients each month. If you're looking for a sooner date, no worries! The calendar is always flexible and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
what areas do you cover?
I am based in Cheltenham, and cover the surrounding areas within Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Oxfordshire. Travel over 20 miles of GL20 will incur a travel fee applied to your package.
How many people are included in a family shoot?
A family session includes up to 6 models. Additional models can be added to a session for the supplementary fee of £25 per model.
What should we wear?
Once you've booked your session, you will recieve a client experience guide which covers everything you need to know including styling. It tells you what colours to consider, styles of clothing and fabrics.
Also there are some beautiful pieces in the client wardrobe that you "mama" can borrow. I may also have items for your littlest loves if you are stuck, please ask!
What time will my shoot be & how long will it last?
I typically suggest that sessions are held in golden hour so the last 2 hours before the sunsets. It is the most dreamy light. This varies depending on the month of the year. In March/April & September/October they are much earlier and suitable for younger families. Family sessions are an adventure which last between 60 to 90 minutes.
What if it rains?
I'm not afraid of a little drizzle and beautiful photos can still be captured in the rain or on overcast days. Your shoot will go ahead unless heavy rain is scheduled. Our options are to rearrange the session either by moving it slightly later or earlier on the date to avoid the rain or changing the date completely to ensure the best conditions for your session.
